Who is SASSA?
SASSA is the South African Social Security Agency. It is the government agency that decides who gets a social grant and pays it every month. It falls under the Department of Social Development.
Only SASSA can approve, stop or pay your grant. You apply for free at a SASSA office or on its official websites.
